To honour the 20th anniversary of The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Alamo Drafthouse reunited Middle-earth™’s finest for three special conversations hosted by Stephen Colbert. The 4k versions have no bonus features whatsoever, not even the audio commentaries, which is odd as with the LOTR trilogy they still span two discs apiece, and they are reportedly 100GB discs, so you get a perhaps unnecessarily high bit rate on those. The only bonus material in this set is the single blu-ray disc, containing three cast reunion featurettes, along with the Cannes presentation reel which has previously unseen footage from the movies.
