Summary: This book is set up in almost a baby like way, it seems too simple but when its a song such as this one simple is all that it needs.

There wasn't much to it and I found it easier to do heads shoulders knees and toes stood up with my son rather than sitting looking at this book trying to do the actions as well. As a child growing up in England, Chris Mears bought his first musical instrument at eleven: a bright red beat-up old surf-rock guitar. The book goes through the refrain and the facial parts while showing a diversity of young children pointing to the part mentioned on each page. For the past 20 years she has been art director of Child's Play, while illustrating many children's titles, including Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes (winner of the Sainsbury's Baby Book Award in 2002).

Extremely disappointed that it was just a direct translation and ZERO effort was given whatsoever into making the Tagalog translation work with the tune of the original nursery rhyme, especially since they even have the tune written on the back of the book! My daughter got this in one of her earliest bookstart packs and she's always loved it, reading it through pointing to all her body parts and then we sing it through together at the end. This is the perfect board book for little babies who are just learning to identify parts of the body.
