About this deal

I am trying to slowly increase the frequency of my application and in a few months, I will also try to increase the concentration of tretinoin (if my doctor is OK of course, remember it’s a prescribed medication). This was one of the few products I bought when I learned about the benefits of Ceramides. If you observe, the ingredients of CeramedX moisturizer and Stratia Liquid Gold are a perfect match.

Liquid Gold also has ceramides and cholesterol, two of the components of the lipid matrix that surrounds the cells in your stratum corneum (the top protective layer of your skin). It also has oils in it, which contain fatty acids bound up in triglycerides. There’s some research that found that putting lipid matrix components on your skin in the wrong ratio could make it recover from harsh treatment (like washing with cleanser) slower, but from what I can tell the right ratio is here. There’s also research that found that oils can act like fatty acids in this specific circumstance, so it’s likely to work as promised. Stratia Liquid Gold also includes a decent amount of rosehip oil, an excellent skincare ingredient that includes beneficial components like beta carotene, all-trans retinoic acid, and gamma-linolenic acid (GLA). These components stimulate cellular regeneration and improve the skin’s barrier function, resulting in healthier, brighter skin. Sh-Polypeptide-1 and Sh-Polypeptide-11: the two Fibroblast Growth Factors which stimulate the growth of fibroblasts, the organelles responsible for creating collagen and elastin All of these work together to protect your stratum corneum and noursh your moisture barrier. These encapsulated and targeted peptides are able to penetrate your skin to get to the necessary receptors, thus maximizing efficacy firming actives. The ingredients are carefully chosen, and hallelujah, no “clean” or “green” marketing campaigns like nearly every other skincare launch from the last 5 years. It was founded by Alli Reed, a young American cosmetic chemist. And the approach of the brand is everything I like: super well designed formulas, focused on effectiveness above all, with no frills and at very decent prices. Ingredients: Water (Aqua), Glycerin, Ethoxydiglycol, Niacinamide, Propylene Glycol, 2-Dimethylamino Ethanol (DMAE), Panthenol, Hydrolized Rice Protein, N-Acetyl Glucosamine, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract, Tamarindus Indica (Tamarind) Seed Extract, Hydrocotyl (Centella Asiatica) Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, Allantoin, Diazolidinyl Urea, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Disodium EDTA.

Reed expects sales to accelerate and continue to double over the next few years as she ramps up social media marketing, and plans to finally enter retail “in a strategic way.” Liquid Gold is a great moisturizer from Stratia with fatty acids that mimic your skin’s completely natural oil production and protects your moisture barrier. If you really want extra hydration, you could always layer a hydrating serum with sodium hyaluronate underneath and rosehip seed oil on top!If you want to avoid a more extensive skincare routine with tons of skincare products, a modern daily moisturizer with Interface is great because it has everything you already need in it. Vitamin B5 and Hyaluronic acid Those who live in hot, humid weather, I do think should still go for more water-based products (as I think this’ll feel too oily / greasy). Conclusion: If your skin gets sensitized or very sensitive, try this one! But for those who has acne prone skin (including me), I don’t think this would do much for acne because based from my experience it’s just a nice barrier repair for dry-patchy, dehydrated and sensitized skin. I would still prefer BHA to treat my acne though. But it is still my fav ‘SOS’ product.
