About this deal

The characters are really well written, and the author creates them so they are relatable and you could easily become friends with them.

BUT it has been left wide open for another, and this one does talk about the previous story so would recommend reading as a series. I enjoyed this book a lot more than the first instalment of the series - the pace of this one was so much better and I like how each chapter ends on a mini cliffhanger because it makes you want to read on more. I loved Ben and Dani's friendship, although I'm hoping that at some point it will turn into something more.Needless to say, there are lots of red herrings as the story twists and turns its course throughout the book and quite a few times I was caught in the trap of believing that everything had been fully revealed.

I liked the slow build up of the plot with a number of strands which are gradually brought together. However despite knowing slightly less about the back story of one of the main characters, it did not matter. Short, snappy chapters, a plethora of flawed characters, a cosy village setting and a tightly woven backstory made for a fantastic read. Thank you so much to Netgalley and Little Brown Book group for an early copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This was an intriguing read, there was a few sub plots going on which could get a little confusing but it also meant there was a lot to be revealed and it all wrapped up rather well. stata una lettura veloce e piacevole, non ho fatto fatica a seguire i vari personaggi e scoprire piano piano i loro segreti. Whilst some of the ‘who dunnit’ I was able to guess, there were many a surprise thrown in for good measure.

A satisfying crime thriller that sucks you into the vortex of a close-knit community jolted by lies and violence ― lovereading.Perhaps that’s because Ben’s story was laid bare in the first book, and Eleven Liars felt more about Dani which is something I appreciated. You’re left starting this book thrust straight into action with Ben Harper saving a masked man from a burning building but this would open up a can of worms when a body is found cast into the foundation of a derelict building.
