About this deal

At that meeting Det Chief Inspector John Clayton said the death of Mrs Leyshon, who was not identified at that point, was being treated as suspicious and appealed to anyone who had information to come forward. year-old Mathew Hardman stabbed her to death, performed a bizarre ritual, cut her heart out, placing it on a si. I enjoyed the first 3, like the way the story is set at the beginning of each book with little mention of the detectives involved.

With Organised crime, Drug Smuggling, Guns, Albanian Gangs and copycat murders this book has plenty of plot lines. He gives just enough to send your imagination into over drive with what the poor victims have been through. A stunningly good read, and on top of the first class crime story I have learned so much about the beautiful scenery on Anglesey. This is a real mystery and crime read to sink your teeth into which will have you immersed, well it did for me. I would never have chosen this book if it had not been set in my childhood holiday area of Trearddur Bay but, it just shows that you should take yourself out of your comfort zone sometimes and see what you find there. The trainers he was wearing were seized by police when they visited his home that Saturday in January and they were sent for forensic analysis. DI Alec Ramsay must sift through the evidence to identify both the victims and the perpetrators, while trying to dismantle the dangerous drug gangs that plague the city.

There's never a dull moment in this one, and by the end everything is neatly finished off - just the way I like my thrillers! The father-of-two was shot at close range while attempting to fix his ground-level dish outside his pebble-dash cottage overlooking the Irish Sea, a few miles from Holyhead on Anglesey in north-west Wales. A BBC journalist was also at the scene and we approached the officer standing guard at the gate and asked what had happened. A book leaves our collection of over seven million titles and begins a new chapter every two seconds, enabling more goods to be reused.

The Anglesey Murders is a police procedural set in North Wales which starts off with a particularly chilling prologue which gives the reader a clue as to what is to come. Analysis of the Land Rover's telematics - a location-tracking SIM card - revealed it had parked at Porth Dafarch beach, a short walk from Gerry's home near the Anglesey coastal path at the time of the murder. As we get to know the potential suspects for the crimes - which increase rapidly - it would seem there is no connection between victims. A man has been charged with the murder of an Anglesey grandmother who was found dead at her home on April 22.Although I have most of Conrad’s books on my ‘to be read’ mountain, I have only read a couple of them. Having been reminded just how brilliant an author Conrad Jones is, I can guarantee that those books will not be on the mountain for very long. When 2 bodies are found, stripped and tied together by lifeguards , DI Alan Williams is tasked with the investigation of these strange killings, the same day another body which seems to unlinked has turned up just a way up the coast. Intertwined with this is a serial killer, who is obsessed with a now caught serial killer, Peter Moore.

There are oddball locals; inept drug dealers and some too cunning for their own good; plus weed growers, drug smugglers, Albanian mobsters, and bent coppers. Couldn’t put it down - a great holiday read, an interesting and exciting plot with strong characterisation of main protagonists. Is there a copycat on the loose or are the murders connected to the local underworld, which controls the supply of narcotics across North Wales and the North West?DI Williams certainly has his work cut out in this first book as he has to deal with drug gang wars and a serial killer, and the body count soon mounts up. The jury heard detectives had identified footprints left at the scene to a limited edition pair of trainers.
