About this deal

If you pass it out under the wiring looms to the right side of the engine bay (As looking in) you can get easier access to disconnect the cable. For the whole week it was fine, today started again having high revs on idle just on 1st gear at traffic lights or during low speeds. There have been cases of broken connectors like the one shown below, and a failed seal is also quite possible. One thing this does bring home is the importance of frequent oil changes since the solenoid and cam adjuster are parts of a hydraulic system which depends on engine oil to function properly.
