About this deal

I'm thinking particuarly of Clarissa who wore braces and glasses but eventually didn't need either and turned out to be beautiful. The Naughtiest Girl Again is the second novel in The Naughtiest Girl series of novels by Enid Blyton. She makes up her mind to be thoroughly rude and disobedient, determined to be expelled by half-term. I often find myself salivating while reading about the large variety of food-stuffs the Five consume throughout the 21 books (who doesn't?

Elizabeth does not want to misbehave again, but someone tries to make sure that she does not forget her nickname of 'The Naughtiest Girl in the School'.Joan Townsend is a pupil in Elizabeth's class who is worried about the lack of interest she receives from her parents. And as you are really getting big enough to look after yourselves now, we thought it would be rather fun for you to have a holiday on your own too. Because Elizabeth is becoming so spoilt and naughty it's felt that going away to school will be good for her and perhaps rub off a few of her corners but she would have to leave her pony and her dog behind and go far away to live with strange girls and boys so Elizabeth is dead against the idea.

The Naughtiest Girl in the School is the first novel in The Naughtiest Girl series by Enid Blyton, published in 1940. Born in South London, Blyton was the eldest of three children, and showed an early interest in music and reading. For goodness sake, why can't the editors just remove the odd reference to Gollies, and change the word queer and leave the rest alone?

Moose wrote:I noticed that a reference to spanking had been removed from my modern edition of Last Term at Malory Towers. But really, when you look at the items in that list, most of them are really quite ordinary foods of the sort that most of us probably eat quite regularly - and it becomes clear that Enid Blyton has the ability to make quite ordinary things (food, and probably lots of other things too) seem quite exciting and wonderful.Much more worrying is the extent to which significant chunks of text have been altered for the 2010 edition. Nora, who is also a monitor, is fairly good at ensuring rules are kept and Elizabeth is simply tipped out of bed with Ruth's help.

Well-heeled and higher-IQ kids don't seem to get into as much trouble as members of the more poverty-ridden families who often hang round the streets looking for kicks.Unfortunately she is challenged and her purse is adroitly snatched from her possession and emptied into The Box.
